The rental of a car for a road test at the Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ) testing center located at 339 Boul Jean Paul Hogue, Saint-Jérôme, Quebec, J7Z 7A5, is available through a driving school located in St-Jérôme.

RENTAL PRICE: 78.00$*.
*The rental must be done a minimum of 24 hours before your exam at the SAAQ, for processing purposes.

This rental includes:

• Insurance coverage for the duration of the exam.
• The gasoline used.
• A double brake control for the SAAQ evaluator.
• A recent vehicle and in excellent mechanical condition for SAAQ inspection.

Did you know that if you want to take the exam to obtain your SAAQ driver's license with your personal car, it will have to pass a rigorous mechanical evaluation. A single burned-out headlight, a cracked windshield or an emergency brake in poor condition will lead to a refusal by the SAAQ and you will have to schedule another appointment for an on-board examination in a compliant automobile.

What are the steps for renting a car for the SAAQ exam with us?

1. The payment for the car reservation is made online (at least 24 hours in advance)
2. At least 30 minutes before your driving test, go to the SAAQ to pay your exam fees.
3. Afterward, pick up your rental car outside the SAAQ by meeting the representative on-site. They will give you the keys to the vehicle. You must have the following with you:
   • An ID card;
   • Proof of online payment for your rental;
   • Your learner's permit number.
