Please note that if you wish to carry out your practical examination at the SAAQ using your personal vehicle, your vehicle will undergo a rigorous inspection. A simple burned light, a cracked windshield or an emergency brake in bad condition will result in a refusal of the SAAQ and you will have to retake an appointment with a vehicle in perfect mechanical condition.

How does our car rental solution work?

1. The payment for the car reservation is made online (at least 24 hours in advance)
2. At least 30 minutes before your driving test, go to the SAAQ to pay your exam fees.
3. Next, pick up your rental vehicle in the private parking lot adjacent to the SAAQ. Speak to the representative on-site, who will hand you the vehicle keys.
   You must have the following with you:
   • An ID card;
   • Proof of online payment for your rental;
   • Your learner's permit number.
